Tuesday, 6 June, students from Years 9 – 11 joined multiple schools to attend the annual Bible Society Masterclass at DaySpring Church. A range of speakers were present at the event, each of whom addressed various issues facing contemporary Christianity including the credibility of the Gospels, the revolutionary nature of Jesus and the problematic rise of ‘selfie’ culture. In a time in which approximately 70% of Christian students leave their faith after graduation, it is significant for RPCS students to stand strong against the hurdles that they may face in the future. Hence, the event aimed to inspire students to grow in their Christian faith and challenge them to think deeply about the decisions they make in their spiritual journey. All in all it was an informative and motivating day to encourage RPCS students in their walk with Christ.
