Secondary Camp: Years 7–12
Each year in Term 1, all Secondary students (Years 7–12) attend a whole‑school camp at The Tops Conference Centre in Stanwell Tops. This has become a much‑loved highlight of the school year. Set in beautiful bushland, the camp provides an important opportunity for students to build lasting friendships, enjoy outdoor activities that promote teamwork and resilience, and grow in their faith within a supportive Christian community.
Across the three days, students participate in a variety of outdoor challenges, daily devotions, Prayer Space activities and Prefect‑led Bible studies. This gives them space for both personal reflection and small‑group discussion around God’s word. Evenings feature vibrant praise and worship led by our student Chapel Band with messages from guest speakers, all shaped by a unique annual theme that encourages students to consider what it means to “shine” for Christ in their everyday lives.
Service Trips: Cambodia
Regents Park Christian School partners with RAW Impact to provide a purposeful Service Trip to Cambodia for students in Years 10 and 11, with alumni invited to participate following graduation. Working alongside local communities and leaders, teams contribute to long‑term development projects such as building homes, playgrounds and classrooms that support education, safety and stability for rural Cambodian families.
This Service Trip is supported by the wider school community, with students from Kindergarten to Year 12 involved through fundraising, prayer and encouragement as the team prepares to serve. As they engage in this cross‑cultural experience, students are encouraged to grow in compassion, humility and global awareness, reflecting our desire to equip young people for lives of thoughtful, Christ‑centred service. Service Week: Year 10
RPCS is committed to the teachings of Jesus, who calls us to serve rather than to be served We seek to embed servant‑hearted leadership into our school culture by providing meaningful opportunities for students to serve others. In Term 4, Year 10 students participate in a dedicated Service Week, where they are released from regular classes to serve both in the wider community and within the school.
Throughout the week, students support the work of organisations such as The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation, visit and encourage residents in local aged care facilities, pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child, assist teachers and students in our Primary School and undertake a range of general school service activities. They also attend workshops with partners including Mission Aviation Fellowship, Compassion and The Salvation Army, learning more about the Christian legacy of social justice and the impact that faithful, practical service can have, in the lives of individuals and communities.
