As another Camp, Missions & Ministry week comes to an end, it is a great time to stop & reflect on the importance of the week in the life of all those who have participated.
Many may question where the value lies in this week. What is the point of having our students go on camp, make art, clean the school or head off into the community to help others? You may think that this week is simply a time for students to have break from the classroom but we believe that it is so much more than that.
We believe that the value of this week 
can be found in the new relationships that have been formed, relationships with God; between students; between students & staff; even between staff members. These relationships are imperative to the lives of both our students & staff as we nurture the seeds that have been planted over this week. Some of these seeds may not come into fruition until many weeks & often years down the track but the memory of this week, the scriptures, the lessons, the relationships & the encouragement they received will help them in their time of need.
Throughout this week we have seen fears conquered, sins forgiven, friendships resorted, & a raft of other situations overcome. Students have engaged with the community, serving in areas that they have never experienced before, learning what it is to have a serving heart & how to love unconditionally. Others have used their creativity to create artworks & encouragement for the whole school community.
Our prayer is that we continue to remember the importance of CMM week, that we continually pray for the ministry that takes place during this week both to our students & by our students & that God continues to be glorified through the school community in all that we do.
