ZONE ATHLETICS
On Thursday the 27 July a group of young, sporty and active students from year 7 – 12 travelled to Campbelltown ANZ sport stadium for Zone Athletics Carnival. With the supervision and company of Mr Orr & the other PDHPE staff, the students braved the freezing weather to compete, not letting it stop them from enjoying the day.
Through out the day, every student strived to do their best and pushed when they had nothing left to give. Everyone should be extremely proud of their achievements and how they represented RPCS on the day.
It was a very challenging day full of competitive active kids form a variety of school.
“A big shout out to the Girls who competed in the track events from 100M to relay. You did so well coming first & second in some of your events. To the energized and competitive boys, the way you all competed on the day was unexplainable. You all had each other backs and was very encouraging to see the support you had for each other.” Kalala

STATE ATHLETICS
On Thursday the 24th of August, our young athletes competed in the CSSA State Athletics Carnival. It was quite a cold and windy day but our students came with an enthusiastic and focused attitude. Rula started off the day strong for RPCS by placing 3rd in her 800m race. Rosana ran an incredible 100m placing 1st in her heat and 5th overall. Other standout performances were by Joshua who placed 2nd overall in shotput, Juliet who placed 3rd in shotput and Tori and Sasha who both placed 3rd overall in Javelin. A noteworthy mention to the girls who huddled around an emotional Amariah who hesitated in her 100m race. Their comradery, support, and love was not just a great representation of the school but also a great testament to Christ. Well done to all our athletes!
Other noteworthy performances were Juliet 4th in Discus, Alina 5th in Discuss, Ela 6th in Discuss and our 12 years Girls Relay team who placed 5th overall.
