Netball
It has been a huge week of Netball at RPCS with the NSW Schools cup and the CSSA State gala day.
Our Year 7 & 8 boys team put in a great effort at the schools cup, a community competition run by Netball NSW playing against schools from throughout the Liverpool area. The boys transferred their Basketball prowess to put up a great show of skill in all of their games. Congratulations to our MVP Jerome Rogers on his fantastic efforts throughout the day.
The CSSA state gala saw our Open Girls team come away with 4 wins, only going down in the Semi Finals. It was an awesome day of fierce competition which showed the high level of talent our girls have been blessed with. The MVP for the Open girls was Shanikau Rogers.
Congratulations to all the RPCS Netballers for a great effort training this term and your performance in competition. You have all represented yourselves, RPCS and God to the best of your ability.
Cross Country
Congratulations to the Primary and Secondary students who competed in the freezing cold to run their hearts out at the CSSA State Cross Country carnival. Each event has around 150-200 participants from schools across NSW, running distances from 2km-6km. All students are congratulated for their efforts in the tough conditions. A special mention to Mackenzie Bolger who came 24th and Sasha Oreshkin in 21st position, our top finishers for the day.
