On Monday 20 February, 11 students from RPCS journeyed to Prairiewood Leisure Centre to compete in the South Met zone swimming carnival. The bus that left from Kingsland Road was fuelled with excitement (and a few nerves), as the students headed off to be the first ever representatives from RPCS to participate in the day. All students competed with valour, most recording a faster time than at the school swimming carnival and some even finished first in their heat. Unfortunately, no students progressed to the State swimming carnival but the day was huge milestone for RPCS. Well done to everyone!
