What an amazing day at the annual State Cross Country held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. Our students have competed and showed sportsmanship and endurance, results due largely to their mature approach in strategically conserving energy in key parts of each race. The students should be commended for their outstanding behaviour and effort on the day.
Congratulations to the following 16 Primary students who represented Regents Park Christian School: Chester, Jeremy, Diella, Olivia, Markcus, David, Hanna, Jack, Charlize, Neva, Emile, Catherine, Angel, Noah, Valerie and Matthew.
A special congratulations to the following students for making the top 100: Jack (56th place in 10 Years Boys); Olivia (58th place in 11 Years Girls); Hanna (68th place in 10 Years Girls). Parents should be applauded for their involvement and being an amazing cheering squad. We are glad that you came and enjoyed the day. If you would like to be more involved next year and volunteer in training our students for Cross Country Term 1 2020 or other sports programs (e.g. Oztag, Basketball), please see Mr Olazo and we will be happy to include you in our weekly programs. We also had 5 Secondary students competed at the Carnival. Well done to all students who competed on the day. A special mention to Mackenzie, who finished 17th overall in his age group of over 100 16 years boys.
