On Friday, May 18, Year 2 went on an excursion to Taronga Zoo. Students had a great time seeing the different animals and learning about their habitats.
Here are some things that the students wrote about the day:
At Taronga Zoo I liked the squirrel, monkey, the seal show and the bird show. I loved seeing the tigers and going in the fake plane, it was really cool! We also saw a lot of reptiles, we saw a long neck turtle, a python and an anaconda.

At Taronga Zoo 2W saw a seal show. I saw a seal do a back flip. We saw the kangaroo and a turkey. We saw a giraffe at the zoo and we went to see the pelicans.

When I went to Taronga Zoo, firstly I saw the turkey. Then we saw the seal show. However, the seal was so loud and splashing.

My favourite was the squirrel monkey because it looked like a real monkey but it was small but it still looked cute. Their face is adorable.
