The Mock Trial Competition run by the Law Society of NSW is underway in 2017. The RPCS team were successful in making it through to the Elimination Rounds in 2016 and has once again formed a skilful group of Year 10 and 11 students. Our team travelled to Jamison High School in Penrith on Thursday 16 March to participate in the opening non-scoring Practice Round. We were represented by Andrew Huynh (11) and James Azzi (11) as Barristers, William Higgins (11) as Solicitor, Sereana Qalulu (11) and Joss Nguyen (10) as Witnesses and Wilfred Fung (11) as the Magistrate’s Clerk. All students were given encouraging feedback on their performance and tips on how to improve in the future. We are currently preparing for our Round 2 clash with De La Salle College, Revesby. The team is coached by Mr Forster (Legal Studies teacher) and organised by Mr Hammonds (HSIE & Biblical Studies Coordinator).
