Regents Park Christian School’s first Medieval Day occurred on Friday, September 21st. The students participated in Medieval Games, did various activities with language, crime and punishment, made shields and medieval nametags and finished with a catapult launching competition to see which team could make a catapult to fling a marshmallow the furthest. The Medieval Feast at lunchtime proved a winner with everybody, even the staff who were not involved! Those students who dressed up showed a great deal of creativity with princesses, peasants, knights and queens showing up to the feast. The judging panel of Mr Hammonds, Mr Brummell and Heather Tulk deliberated at length over the costumes and were impressed by the creativity of all involved. Overall, the day proved to be a success and will be an excellent starting point for future Medieval Days to come.
