Friday, 22 February, Kindergarten held its annual Teddy Bears Picnic. It was a great morning together which started with Kindergarten’s first assembly performance. They were brave, sitting on the stage with all the Primary students and many proud parents watching!
After assembly, families and special visitors were invited back to the classroom for some teddy bear themed Math and craft activities. The students were the experts, introducing our visitors to the classroom and explaining how to complete the activities. Who knew Kindergarten could be such brilliant teachers after only four weeks at school?
After this, students and visitors enjoyed a picnic together. Despite the wind and threatening rain, a fantastic time was had by all. We hope that the visiting families enjoyed the glimpse into school and felt at home amongst our school community. It was our joy to host you!
