On Monday the 7th of August, Regents Park took a team of 45 students to the South Metropolitan Zone Athletics Carnival help at Campbelltown Sports Track. The day started off well with the sun shining and with 14 records broken at the School Athletics Carnival our hopes were high. The wind started to rise and conditions were tough. But our competitors were up to the challenge. RPCS finished the day in 5th position with 11 competitors progressing through to the State Carnival.
The CSSA State Carnival was held on the Friday 18th August. All competitors competed well as the wind again played havoc. A big congratulations to Charles, who finished 1st in the 11 year old Boys Shot Put and Solomon, who finished 2nd in the 8-10 year old Boys Shot Put. Well done to all our competitors!
