Did you know our farmers are being affected by the worst drought in 18 years, with over 90% of the farming community affected?
You are probably asking “But what can I do?” As Christians we are called to help others in need just as Christ did.
Two of our students have taken it upon themselves to make a difference in the lives of the farmers by starting the initiative ‘Showers of Blessings’. Showers of Blessings will deliver non-perishable goods to the farmers most affected by this natural disaster.
We are inviting the school community to be involved in Showers of Blessings by donating items such as pantry staples, canned goods, toiletries & other household items to the farmers. Collection points will be places in both the Primary & main school offices where they will be sorted & delivered by these students throughout the Hunter, Tamworth & surrounding areas.
We are asking you to consider how you are able to partner with these students to bring not only hope to the farmers but also the love of Christ.
