Earlier in the term, Josh, Nicholas, Mel and Leamani Ata represented Regents Park Christian School as members of the NSWCSSA Open Boys Rugby Team at the AICES Rugby Championships and selection trials.
Despite being down a number of players on the day and having to play with very few reserves, the NSWCSSA team were dominant throughout the day, winning 2 of their 3 games. All four boys received lots of attention from the selectors in searching for an AICES squad to compete at the NSW Secondary Rugby Union trials in June. Nicholas was successful in being selected for this team and will now go and play for the Open Boys AICES team at Pittwater park in late June. Well Done Nico!
